Not much going on but pictures are always a plenty

Tomatoes and parsley from my first garden. Not much of a garden, I just have potted plants. Baby steps.
Evee eating in a high chair for the first time. Abigail had a hard time sharing the high chair but then thought it was pretty cool that her sister was trying something new.
Who wouldn't love this picture.

Abigail loves to put spare change in her piggy bank. Although the spare change comes from mom's purse. Interesting.
Evelyn is sitting up now all the time and loves to try and crawl. She can only crawl backwards at the moment but she will get there.

She has two bottom teeth. It was extremely difficult to get a picture this all I could get. She is having a very hard time teething. She screams in pain out of the blue and constantly gets up at night. She doesn't cry at night very often but has a hard time sleeping. Poor thing.

Abi is so talkative except when I am filming her. She also says the silliest things but that darn camera gets on and she forgets. Oh well, she is still super cute.

Play time for Evee.

Leaps, bounds and booty shakes

Girls are so much fun and both have done things that they haven't done before. Evelyn is now sitting up on her own from a lying position, she did that today for the first time. She is almost crawling, almost. She reaches and shakes her booty. She also loves music and bounces her head and her booty to the rhythm. It is so fun to see her grow but it feels like it is going too fast.
Abigail is just so smart and started saying "I love you Mama". The first time she did it without me saying it first was yesterday. I put her down for a nap, kissed her, turned on her music and walked out of the room when I hear her yell from her bed, "I love you Mama". Man that just tugged at my heart and made me beam. Leaps and bounds people, leaps and bounds. There is no walking here. :)
Abigail looks really happy in this picture. She actually was, but i caught her blinking.

Now that is what I am talking about. That face is just squeezable.
Hey there my little bug learning how to crawl. It is so funny, she is such a smiley baby but in most pictures she looks so serious. Her smile would melt any ones heart. She squints her eyes and wrinkles her nose. I love it.
Cute girls in leggings. I put them on Evee and Abigail had to have some too.

Sleeping Angel. She even looks serious when she sleeps.
She wanted to snuggle with her babies. She kept saying they were cold. So cute. Evelyn is so hands on and smart. What to do.

Summer tradition

Our great summer tradition of an outside movie almost didn't happen. We woke up on Saturday morning and it was raining like crazy and it was super dark and gloomy, so we thought to call off the party. In just a couple of hours the weather was beautiful so we called it back on. It was such a fun night all though it was a little chilly. Thanks to all the families that came out for it. We love spending time with all of you. I hope you come next year, you may even get a longer taste of my mad dance skills.

Here are a few fun pics from Sunday. Evee fell asleep with her pop in this adorable ball. Yes I spiked her hair.
Abigail saw her mom (me) put in some curlers and begged with her batted eyes to put some in her hair. (like she needs them) She was still so cute. Today after I spent most of the morning doing miscellaneous tasks we went to Laina's house to See her new baby (Lizzy, a puppy). Abigail just loved the dog and Evee got to pet her too. But her boys are so cute and just love LOVE Evee. Here are some cute pictures of them hanging with her. (Nice face Morgan) :)

9 Years and still ticking!

That is right Justin and I have been married 9 years today. What a wild ride the last 9 years have been. The years have been full of fun, love, ciaos, work, little girls and more love. I really love Justin and thank him everyday for the hard work that he puts into our family. He works hard at everything he does like his work, the house, our girls and me. I adore him.

Today we took some time to do something we haven't done is two years and go on a fun date without any kids. We went to Boondock and turned into giggling school children again. We played mini golf, rode race cars (I won), did the bumper boars (got soaked), went on 4d rides (got sick b/c we are old), played skeet ball and road the flight simulator. It was such a blast!

When life happens and you are busy with work, kids, building a house and just life it is hard to remember that you are friends too and not just married. So it was so fun to be reminded that we are best friends. We laughed, fooled around and flirted. It felt like we were dating again and we just had a blast. Thank you Justin for being my friend and taking the plunge on me. It has been a great 9 years and I can't wait to see what the next 9 have in store for us. :)
A thank you to Laina who watched my girls so we could have a night away. You are a great friend.
