A good day

Happy Day! I just have to write today for I am in such a good mood. It did not start off that way for I had a very hard and difficult night. Waking up was a chore and thinking about going and doing some grocery shopping was painful but I did it anyways. By the time I got home which was around 1 pm I was in so much pain I thought i was going to die but I didn't (imagine that). I got the girls fed and then put Evee down for a nap, put on Dora for Abi hoping to get a nap but the pain was so bad that I couldn't even lay down, so I took some meds which i never do unless Justin is home. The Lord knew I needed a break and the meds worked!!! Not to say when I take them normally that they don't work but most of the time I still have some sort of pain it just makes the pain bearable, which has been my frustration this whole time. Anyways, today they worked for a good couple of hours and I am still going strong. I have kept on the meds tonight because I don't want this to end. I feel 100% normal, which is sooooo nice. Justin reminds me to not get my hopes up, i know he's not trying to be mean he is just keeping me in perspective. I mean I haven't felt this good since December. Sad I know. So please say prayers that the road might get easier from here or I may have some better days.

I am just a very happy camper so thought I would share. Here are few pictures that make me happy. Here is Abigail at my brothers wedding. She just makes me smile.

She just keeps getting older which I hate but she is still my snuggler. Any time of the day she will give me a hug or kisses and she promises to do so even when she's old. Here's to hoping for that. I will say she is one connected little girl. what I mean by that is that she has always knows when i am down and in need of a little something. Saturday Justin had the girls all day and made me stay in bed all day. I loved and hated it. I love it because I do feel great when i just lay but i hate it because I feel like there is so much to get done and the biggest reason I hate it is because I feel like I am missing out. So of course I was thinking of that and started to cry and at that same exact time Abigail came running up the stairs calling out to me "Mom I just want you, I want to give you kisses." That is all I needed. What a blessing she is to my life... This picture ROCKS!!! Evee can make me laugh any time of the day or night. This just proves it. She wanted to wears these so bad while wanting to have no clothes on. Man I love her.
I think I have mentioned this before but I know she has a special bond with her brother. She knew I was pregnant before I did. Everyday she will find my tummy, kiss it or hug it and talk to her brother. It sure helps remind me that all the pain is totally worth it. Thank you Evelyn.
Okay another reason Evelyn makes me laugh. She begged (i mean really begged) me to put on this blanket on her so she could be a superhero and then two minutes (ok seconds) later yelled at me to take it off. You never can tell with her. But I thought her screaming was cute so i had to get a picture.

Here is a project I had a in my mind for a while. All I have to do is lay in my bed and think so needless to say there are a lot of projects on my mind. The cradle bumper I had before was pretty shot since I have used it with both girls, so we really did need to get a new one but i can never find what i like. So i had this vintage quilt topper i bought at an antique store just sitting in the closet and thought it wouldn't be that hard to make my own. Thank goodness it was not that hard and I love it. I like the vintage look and it is just perfect for my room. Something actually got done. The two quilts in the cradle I wish I would have done but one is from my friend Callee and the other from Justin's Aunt Debbie.

Ps. I think we have our little boys name but I am not telling. I just want to make sure before I spill the beans. Justin has been known to change his mind. :)

Wrapping it up

31 weeks along...
There was a lot that went on this last two weeks. My family came to stay with us, my brother got married, my family and friends had a baby shower for me and lots of pregnancy pain. I was in my room a lot with few meltdowns, feeling like I wanted to be downstairs with my family but I just couldn't stand the pain so laying down was the best option. Thank goodness everyone was kind and helped out a lot.

Since I have been inside way too much I thought I would try and make some of my time useful. I have always thought of shooting pregnancy pictures like this but have never done it so I took the opportunity. I think they turned out pretty cute for having two little children running around my camera and trying to get in the shot.

Here is what you will probably see at my house on a daily basis minus me in the shot. Yep laying down is where i feel most comfortable so i have no other choice but to drag my children down with me. I feel terrible about this but luckily they love to snuggle with me. Now can they do it until May? I am sure they are going to go crazy. There are few things that have been added to the medical problem list but I think i have talked about that too much so now my main option is as much bed rest as possible.
When my parents / family came into town they did watch the girls a lot. Here they took them to Heber to go tubing. Too bad it rained that day but I heard they had a blast anyways. while they did that I was able to use a Christmas gift from Justin and spent 2 hours at the spa. It was heaven and I haven't felt that good in a very long time.
Here is my brother kort and my mom with the girls.

Here is my sister Heather, Kort, Ben and Dale.

Here are pictures from my baby shower. Everyone was so generous and so much fun. I wasn't sure if anyone was going to be able to come because it was last minute but there was a great turn out. It was last minute because we wanted to do something so my mom and sisters could be there while they were here. It was a lot of fun. I just look huge in these pictures. So beware.

My two sisters and my mom .
I make some scary faces....
When i got home and looked at all the stinking cute boy stuff all of a sudden realized how real it all was. We are having a boy. Crazy...
Now to my brothers wedding. Eric and Solea were married in the Salt Lake Temple on Saturday March 12th. It was wonderful. I love Solea, she is kind and easy to be around. I hope to be great friends with her.

Eric and Solea's Engagement pictures. I took them and it was so much fun. These were strung up at their reception.

My sweet husband. :)
Evelyn was having a blast with all the kids.

After it being official and coming out of the temple. yeah!!!!

What's up doc?

I am sorry I have been absent from all of you. It has been a rough couple of weeks. I have been in so much pain with my back that I finally took steps to cure it but to no avail. I want to thank those of you who have called and have thought of me. Sorry I haven't answered, I just have been to sappy to talk to anyone.

Over a week ago I went into surgery to have a stent put into my kidney to my bladder which was recommended by my doctor and urologist. I was very nervous to do this because of being pregnant and I think there is always a risk when you get put out but I had to try something. I will just tell you that it did not work at all! Leaving the hospital was one of the hardest things I had to do because I was still in a lot of pain. By the next day late in the evening we had to have it taken out. Okay my husband actually did it because the urologist put strings on the end of it. Too much information I am sure. It took a good week and half to have no pain from the stent. The back pain is still there but according the doctor it could be from a variety of things, kidney stone, hydronaphrosis or my gallstones that they just found while I went to the ER one night because of problems urinating. All of this is related to this pregnancy. So now it is just a pain management thing until that baby gets here. It has been a pretty helpless couple of weeks. I know all of this will go away when i have our little boy but it seems like forever when you are in constant pain.

While all of this is going on there was a variety of other things going on. Justin's dad got really sick and ended up in the hospital while his dad (Justin's grandpa) passed away. Then last Thursday I thought I was having a good day so I went grocery shopping, when I came home I wanted to park in the back so I needed to move the trash can which was in front of the driveway. I get out to move it but little did I know that my hubby put about 300 lbs of concrete in it until it was too late and it took me out. I just pushed it forward a little but that much weight I couldn't control and literally fell on my face. I bruised my wrists, feet and took a good chunk of skin off my chin. It hurt so bad and just bawled like a baby. I got in the car and parked it. Got in the house and called my friend Laina right away. She is an angel. She came over right away helped me put he trash can back up and took my girls so I could rest. I am sure she thought I was going to have a mental breakdown. Needless to say it has been a very hard time for everyone.
Right now I just want to count my blessings. Our little baby boy is healthy and strong, regardless of how I feel. His is so beautiful and kicks and punches me all the time. Good kicks and punches. He is just full of energy. Now if we could just pick a name for him. Boys names are so hard. I did have a dream about my little boy and it was the best dream I have had in a long time and he did have a name in the dream. In the dream my girls were running around with him and he came and jumped up on my bed and cuddled right up in my arms. He was full of blonde curly hair. I woke up happier than I have in a long while. God is amazing when he gives you little pieces of joy so that you know you can get to end of your trial because of what is waiting for you at the end of it. Pregnancy is hard and different for every woman but no matter the outcome the experience is amazing. It proves to me beyond a shadow of a doubt that God is real and good.
Here is a picture of my little one. Still no great straight on face shot because she sleeps facing my back and he loves to sleep with this hands infront of his face.
Here are my sweet girls.
