Family Farm

We went on our annual farm trip to Missouri in September. We had such a wonderful time working on projects and getting to know some cousins we don't get to see to often. The weather was amazing so we spent ALL of our time outside and it we couldn't have been happier. To spend 12 hours a day outside and letting the kids run wild and use their imaginations was the best way to end our summer.

Walter was a hit with everyone. Not only because he is super cute but because he doesn't make a peep and let's you enjoy him. I think he enjoyed being outside as well.

On the old porch rocker. Abi had her baby pictures on the this swing. It got a fresh coat of pain this year.

Maci joined in later. What a sweet little girl she was and it was so much fun to get to know her. We hope we can see her again.

If you ever were wondering where Evelyn was on the farm you didn't have to look far. She was always on the ground digging in dirt. She would do this for hours and content as ever.

Justin and our little family went on a drive and needed to get gas and saw this gas station. As we pulled up closer we realized it was not a working gas station just someones cool replica. A look closer and they even had manikins in the cars. I am not going to lie the manikins were a little creepy.

We all went to the Mark Twain Caves.

We saw a sign on the way to the farm that said "fresh baked goods by order only" at a Amish house so we got plenty. I am sure we made their month. This was just one order. I took home two loaves myself. It was SOOO good.
