Click on the pictures to see larger view!After two gut wrenching days the roof is down. It looks so weird to see it with out that large roof. We hate to see it go because the original roof was help up by solid 30 foot 2x4's. Pretty amazing! But things change. It is funny we have an old neighbor that feels like he has every right to come take what he pleases because his wife grew up in that house so it kinda gets on my nerves but i can also understand. He took the pillars yesterday because he said it would me the world to his wife. I have no idea what they are going to do with four 10 foot pillars but more power to him.
Other than that and the brick falling down it went pretty smoothly. The south side didn't loose any brick and I thought that that would be the side that would lose all of it. Thank goodness. It must have been all of your prayers. We are happy to be moving on now. Tomorrow they will start framing and then they will put the trusses on. Lets hope the snow holds off till they get it roofed. My hopes are not high. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
